Windows Advanced Mode is essential for doing a number of things from debugging, boot logging, low-resolution video, safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt, booting with disable driver signature enforcement, disable early launch anti-malware protection, and disable automatic restart after failure.
The following method is by far to me the fastest method to get into Advanced Mode.
Go to Start -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
From there enter (without quotes)
“shutdown.exe /r /o”
You should now see the following screen
This will reboot the system into the generic Troubleshoot menu, as shown below:
from here select “Troubleshoot” -> “Advanced options” -> “Startup Settings” -> “Reboot”
Here we are, finally – the Advanced Mode
