Login to mySQL
mysql -uroot -p
Create new Database
MariaDB [(none)]> create database wordpress;
Create new User and add user to new database created above
MariaDB [(none)]> grant all privileges on wordpress.* to wpuser@localhost identified by 'wppass';
Update Permissions & Close
MariaDB [(none)]> flush privileges; MariaDB [(none)]> exit;
We first browse to our website folder, commonly /var/www and then we move the wordpress folder inside the html directory.
[root@stanleyss ~]# cd /var/www/ [root@stanleyss www]# wget https://wordpress.org/latest.zip [root@stanleyss www]# unzip latest.zip [root@stanleyss www]# cp -rp wordpress/* html/ [root@stanleyss www]# chmod 777 html html/wp-content
